Current Projects

This semester, my coursework has been heavily focused on the fashion design process. I’m currently enrolled in Fashion Construction, Fashion Design, and Fashion Illustration. What follows is a selection of completed projects from this term, along with some behind-the-scenes progress on works still in development.

Technical Flats

In my Fashion Design class, our first project centered on hand-drawing technical flats. This exercise emphasized the importance of precision and attention to detail in technical fashion illustration. While these flats were done by hand, the project served as a valuable introduction to creating digital CADs and understanding their role in the design process.

Classic Garment Collection

For my Fashion Design class we were tasked with designing a collection based on a classic garment. I chose the cargo pant, which aligns well with my personal design history. In this collection, I aimed to preserve the structure and purpose that cargo pants were initially created for while incorporating a softness inspired by organic shapes and elements of nature. I wanted to maintain some of the original functionality, like symmetrical pockets, belt loops, and bagginess, but more importantly, I hoped to capture the artistic freedom that cargo pants have provided to creatives across different disciplines.

CADs

Here are some CAD’s I’ve done this semester.
